SVP, AccountInizio Evoke is a marketing and advertising agency servicing the healthcare industry. We partner with leading pharmaceutical, biotech, and medical device clients – delivering unparalleled levels of strategic service, creative and technological innovation that build richer and more effective interactions between our clients and their customers.Your role as an SVP, Account – dAOR franchise account :Y ou will join as an established leader of our Account Management department with the opportunity to employ your expertise of multiple therapeutic categories, a wide array of successful client service engagements, and unrivaled industry expertise while mentoring and growing mid and junior level team members. Your job will be to be accountable for agency service that exceeds the expectations of one client , to start, through the ongoing, flawless execution and delivery of your clients’ suite of high-value dAOR connected capabilities with the multidisciplinary team. Our job is to support your ability to manage teams that deliver all projects and the holistic Evoke offering/experience in a clean and swift manner, to best manage and grow existing and new meaningful client relationships, to manage agency partnerships at the senior level with grace and leverage those partnerships, and ensure you have the tools needed to deliver best-in-class client service each and every day. An SVP, Client Partner is the leader for one team to start with the expectation you add more after product launch ; a partner to our clients, their bosses, and their extended team. An SVP, Client Partner mentors and aids mid-level and junior account management team members and acts as a team leader in building strong, mutually trusting relationships with our clients by ensuring excellence in delivery, clear communication, and sound strategic guidance.Execution:Ensures each team is consistently delivering best-in-class deliverables and distinguishable client serviceEnsures that there is never a gap in service for any client, even if it means rolling your sleeves upIs accountable for impeccable delivery of many large-sized, high-value client projects (estimated $7-8M in year 1)Is informed of all major project engagements across clients and offers regular input to both clients and teamRelationship Management:Is seen as a leader to clients, to the team, and to all industry partnersCommands attention without asking for itCan challenge senior clients and partners respectfully as we build a pre-launch and launch plan with our client and agency stakeholder partnersIs onsite with clients as needed (expectation: at least 1x/month but could be more) , fostering a stronger relationship with day-to-day clients as well as directors, procurement, HCP and/or consumer brand leads, and our primary dAOR clients, the Digital Marketing Team etc.Has the ability to convey complex ideas/solutions to clients in a simplistic mannerIs always looking for ways to better serve the client, to grow their business, and grow Evoke’s businessIs always looking for a new relationship and can effectively speak to Evoke’s core offerings in a manner that piques interest and instills trustIs seen as an indispensable asset to the client and to the agency/team, a trusted leaderIs not afraid of having the ‘tough’ conversations, but instead handles them with grace and dignityGrows senior-level client relationships, identifies organic and franchise-level growth opportunitiesMaintains previous relationships and leverages those for new opportunitiesExpands the client relationship beyond the product manager and beyond marketingCurrent state: Lead the digital strategy for an unbranded and branded campaign in Future state (post launch): Leads new business opportunities and plays a leadership role in pitchesAttends and adds value to new client on-boardingsWith the strategy , creative , and tech teams, leads brand planning process and all brainstorming sessionsPlans for brands in the long term as well as the short termHolds all team members responsible for following process to achieve proper client serviceIs knowledgeable of the agency competitive set and can position us as a differentiated leaderIs an expert in all aspects of our clients’ business, being able to speak to the category, across channels, and across targets ; Critical here , the ability to learn and understand the technical infr astructure of o ur clients and drive Omnichannel strategy with a cross-functional SVP partner to grow the businessProvides an ongoing strategic audit of all owned projects and associated components, ensuring all content is on strategy and working towards brand goalsIs willing to adjust in-progress planned program/SOW to better meet client needs, constantly challengesWorks directly with the Engagement strategy and analytics teams to assess program performance and to identify new and/or optimization opportunitiesOversees the development of strategic documents and recommendations with the creative and strategy teamsWith the strategy group, identifies , develops, and presents client-specific POVsAccountable for the clients’ total budget by having proactive, ongoing conversations with the project management team and ADsProactively and immediately flags any scope/budget concerns to client before hours are incurredWith project management, is accountable for and presents ongoing financial reconciliationsWorks with project management to establish forecasts and ensures that financial goals are met/exceededConsistently works to exceed quarterly and yearly financial goalsWith project management, is responsible for the proper development and presentation of SOWsManagement and Mentorship:Manages 2-3 mid-level account team members, while mentoring the full account teamInterviews all account and all client-facing team membersProvides effective, efficient, and profitable staffing plansIs capable of deploying the right resources at the right time, while remaining profitableIdentifies resource gaps/weaknesses, and immediately adjustsProvides scheduled and ongoing feedback (both positive and constructive) to managed account team members, ensuring their growth and positive improvement, coaches account team members to instill confidence and growthMentors and supports junior account management team membersLearns under the mentorship of the executive teamQualifications Include (but are not limited to):15 years experience in account management (general advertising or interactive advertisingAt least 10 years agency experience requiredAt least 10 years healthcare experience requiredAt least 5 years in a senior management role requiredDemonstrated ability to manage multiple teams to successfully deliver multiple high-value, fast-moving projectsDemonstrated ability to develop, grow, and extend a meaningful client relationshipDemonstrated ability to identify and act upon organic and greenfield growth opportunitiesDemonstrated ability to manage/mentor id-level and junior account team membersWillingness to learn, recognizing there’s always more to learnOmnichannel and Digital marketing experienceA clear understanding of the multidisciplinary team and when to engage resourcesImpeccable attention to detail and self-accountabilitySuperb organizational and multitasking skillsStrong working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)Masterful communicator with a combination of listening, speaking, and business writing skills, knows when to pick up the phone, when to be at the client, when to emailEnvied presenter to small or large groups, both internally and externallyExperience and history of success in pitching and closing new businessAbility to follow-through and complete assignments in a timely manner with no room for errorAnalytical skills to identify and understand implications from relevant marketing data and budgets and transform learnings into new opportunities and/or optimizationsWorking well independently and as a team member across departments to manage the flow of projects through the agency/teamA bachelor’s degree (advertising, marketing, or science major preferred)About Evoke:Evoke is a full-service health and wellness agency with a heritage of innovation.
