And we’re only just getting started: Healthcare’s watershed moment for AI-powered transformation is here – so join us in creating the technology to power healthcare!What You'll DoTechnical Accounting & ComplianceLead all aspects of ASC 606 revenue recognition across multiple products and pricing structures; draft memos as neededActively participate in Deal Desk reviews, advising on revenue recognition implications, billing mechanics, and operational risks for proposed customer contractsOversee accurate and timely revenue close, reconciliations, and reportingServe as the primary contact for annual financial audits and quarterly reviews related to revenue, ensuring all documentation meets external auditor standardsDevelop and maintain robust accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls in alignment with public company requirementsWork closely with FP&A to report on Revenue trends and upcoming increases/decreases in revenueOperational Excellence & Order-to-Cash LeadershipOversee the complete order-to-cash (O2C) cycle — from contract intake to cash collection — ensuring speed, accuracy, and complianceManage a multi-product billing process, ensuring all bills are delivered in a timely and accurate mannerCollaborate with stakeholders outside of accounting, including Revenue/Sales Operations, Customer Success, Legal, Operations, and Engineering, to design and refine O2C workflowsEstablish clear SLAs, performance metrics, and reporting to monitor billing, collections, and revenue operations effectivenessDrive process improvements that enhance both operational efficiency and customer experienceSystems & AutomationOwn, optimize, or integrate financial systems supporting revenue processes (Netsuite, Salesforce CPQ, Stripe, Retool, and other billing platforms)Partner with IT and engineering to implement automation, integrations, and reporting enhancements that scale with company growthTeam Leadership & DevelopmentBuild, mentor, and lead a global revenue accounting and operations teamFoster a collaborative, solutions-oriented culture that values both results and continuous improvementPromote cross-training and career development to support long-term retention and engagementLeverage strong communication and influence skills to align cross-functional stakeholders, drive adoption of best practices, and inspire high performanceWhat you have7+ years in accounting/finance, including at least 3 years in revenue accounting leadershipBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related fieldCPA (active or inactive) with strong ASC 606 expertiseExperience with multi-product and multi-pricing models (SaaS, transactional, licensing)Healthcare tech experience is preferred but not requiredDemonstrated success in IPO readiness or public company environmentsExperience supporting external financial audits and building SOX-compliant processesProven ability to partner cross-functionally to design and optimize Order-to-Cash processesHands-on experience with NetSuite, Salesforce, CPQ, and billing systemsExceptional communication, influence, and stakeholder management skillsStrong team-building and people leadership skills with a track record of developing high-performing teamsComfortable in a fast-paced, scaling private company environmentCultural ExpectationsAt Commure, success comes from:Acting with urgency and accountability — delivering results quickly without compromising accuracy or compliancePartnering across functions to proactively identify and resolve high-impact challengesBuilding solutions that are both effective today and scalable for tomorrow, especially with IPO-readiness in mindLeading with collaboration, empathy, and a commitment to our missionThriving in an environment where priorities can shift quickly, and adaptability is keyWhy you’ll love working at Commure + Athelas:Highly Driven Team: We work hard and fast for exceptional results, knowing we’re doing mission-driven work to transform the country’s largest sector.Strong Backing: We are backed by top investors including General Catalyst, Sequoia, Y Combinator, Lux, Human Capital, 8VC, Greenoaks Capital and Elad credible Growth: Prior to our merger, Commure and Athelas had independently grown more than 500% YoY for three consecutive years.
