Job DescriptionJob DescriptionPosition OverviewThe Cloud Solutions Architect will design and implement secure, scalable cloud environments to support the DoD’s Enterprise Architecture Governance and logistics IT infrastructure. This role will lead the development of architectures optimized for logistics systems, including warehouse management, transportation, and real-time tracking, while ensuring compliance with DoD CIO strategic objectives, Zero Trust principles, and interoperability standards. The architect will also contribute to modernizing the Information Enterprise Architecture (IEA) and integrating emerging technologies into mission-critical systems.Key ResponsibilitiesLead the design and deployment of cloud solutions for logistics applications and enterprise data systems.Optimize cloud performance, reliability, and security in alignment with DoD and IC requirements.Develop and manage AWS IAM policies and roles to enforce least-privilege access.Implement CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices using GitLab or equivalent tools.Leverage Infrastructure as Code (IAC) tools such as Terraform and CloudFormation for compliant, repeatable deployments.Ensure architectures align with DoDAF, DM2, and DoD CIO governance processes.Support the Enterprise Architecture and Engineering Panel (EAEP) and related working groups.Required QualificationsActive Secret clearance (TS/SCI ).Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.Security+ certification.5+ years of experience with AWS services (S3, EC2, EKS, ELB).5+ years of experience managing AWS IAM policies and roles.5+ years of experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.2+ years in Agile Scrum environments.Experience with Terraform, CloudFormation, or equivalent IAC tools.QualificationsTS/SCI clearance.Experience integrating logistics IT systems into secure cloud environments.Familiarity with DoD architecture frameworks and standards.Work LocationHybrid – Pentagon and remote. #J-18808-Ljbffr
