The opportunityPatina Group, a subsidiary of Delaware North, is hiring a General Manager with an exceptional knowledge of cocktail bar operations for our newest location. As General Manager for this 40-seat craft cocktail bar, you will use your strong knowledge of business finance by monitoring an annual budget, labor control, operating expenses, and PLs. You’ll also use your skills to lead, inspire, and collaborate with a dedicated group of talented chefs and team members at the Diamond Room in San Diego, California.Velvet, mirrors, red leather, dark wood, a fluffy Garibaldi, caviar, some fondue, and a disco ball. These are just some of the benefits we offer:Medical, dental, and vision insurance401(k) with up to 4% company matchAnnual performance bonus based on level, as well as individual, company, and location performancePaid vacation days and holidaysPaid parental bonding leaveTuition and/or professional certification reimbursementGenerous friends-and-family discounts at many of our hotels and resortsWhat will you do?Manage day-to-day bar operations with a strong focus on guest satisfaction.Review financial statements and other performance data to measure productivity, goal achievement, and determine areas that need cost reduction and program improvement.Carry out administrative duties such as scheduling of team members, workforce planning, training, sales tracking, labor tracking, petty cash, deposits, inventories, ordering, account payables and receivables, and PL accounting.Establish standard operating procedures for supervising, inspiring, and motivating all front-of-the-house team members.Collaborate with the Executive Chef on standard operating procedures for the front and back of the house for food and menu specifications, food handling, food safety requirements in compliance with Health Department standards, receiving, and storage procedures.More about youMinimum of 3 years of experience as an Assistant General Manager in a cocktail bar, full-service restaurant, hotel, or other food and beverage location with similar volume, capacity, and standard of service.Strong cocktail, spirit, and bar knowledge.Servsafe, Food Safety Handler, andTraining for Intervention Procedures certifications.Strong financial and computer skills with experience working with and understanding PLs, service and labor cost budget monitoring and management.Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays in addition to normal business hours, as needed.Strong communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills to deal effectively with all types of business contacts,team member affairs, and customers.Source: Hospitality Online #J-18808-Ljbffr
