Directs teams responsible for Diversified Markets business development, client and partner satisfaction and loyalty. Effectively manages resources, credit administration, compliance, profitability and loan quality within Diversified Markets Lending. Develops and implements strategies and tactics in areas of responsibility and is responsible for planning, organizing and implementing operational activities to achieve department goals and objectives.A typical day:Provide strategic leadership by championing Compeer’s vision, mission, and values while driving alignment with organizational imperatives and industry best practices.Shape business direction by setting clear expectations, goals, and strategies for Agri-Access and Leasing while guiding market opportunities, risk appetite, and return-on-equity performance.Lead and develop high-performing teams through selection, training, coaching, and mentoring, fostering a culture of accountability, engagement, and professional growth.Drive business growth and innovation by identifying and pursuing new opportunities, evolving sales strategies, and ensuring strong client relationships that position Compeer as a trusted advisor.Promote operational excellence by collaborating across senior leadership to enhance efficiency, optimize resources, and improve the quality and impact of sales programs.Ensure disciplined risk management by monitoring credit exposure, aligning with audit and compliance standards, and supporting sound lending practices.Deliver strong business results through achievement of loan, lease, and financial service goals, while maintaining focus on credit quality, client satisfaction, and return on equity.Represent the organization through participation in management forums, Board meetings, and key committees, ensuring transparency, collaboration, and alignment across the enterprise.Champion a sales culture across the organization by embedding client focus, relationship management, and accountability in every aspect of the business.Stay ahead of market trends by proactively anticipating shifts in agriculture and developing innovative solutions to meet evolving client needs.Build strong internal and external partnerships that strengthen Compeer’s market presence and expand opportunities for growth.The skills and experience we prefer you have:Bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance, marketing, agribusiness, or related field; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.Extensive experience in sales and business development with a strong track record of driving growth and client relationships.Progressive leadership and management experience within financial services, ideally including agriculture, leasing, or related industries.Strong knowledge of financial industry regulations and compliance requirements, with familiarity in agricultural finance and Farm Credit preferred.Advanced expertise in financial operations, credit, lending and leasing.Strategic thinker with the ability to innovate, identify opportunities, and execute business strategies.Proven leadership skills in selecting, developing, and engaging high-performing teams, including leading remote and geographically dispersed groups.Excellent communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization.Demonstrated ability to build and sustain strong client and partner relationships.High level of integrity, sound judgment, and ability to make complex decisions in a fast-paced environment.Strong problem solving, negotiating, organizational, and decision-making skills.Proficiency in MS Office applications and CRM systems.Ability to work both independently and collaboratively to deliver results and represent the business effectively.Valid driver’s license#IND100How we will take care of you:Our job titles may span more than one career level (associate, senior, principal, etc.). The actual title and base pay offered is dependent upon many factors, such as: training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs and market demands. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
