Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience — talk with your recruiter to learn more.Base pay range$130,000.00/yr - $210,000.00/yrDirect message the job poster from TavantAs the Director of Technology & Architecture, you will lead the strategic AI vision and execution of technology initiatives that support our business goals. You will oversee architecture design and technology planning while ensuring the alignment of IT infrastructure with business objectives. Your role will involve managing technical teams, driving innovation, and collaborating across departments to foster a culture of excellence in technology delivery.Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement the overall technology strategy and architecture roadmap for Agentic AI solution.- Lead architecture design sessions to define and document technical standards and guidelines.- Evaluate emerging technologies in Agentic AI space and provide recommendations to improve existing systems and processes.- Manage and mentor the technology team, fostering professional growth and skill development.- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into technical solutions.- Ensure compliance with industry standards and security regulations in all technology initiatives.- Oversee technology projects from conception through implementation and support.- Maintain an understanding of industry trends and best practices to keep the organization competitive.Skills and Tools Required:- Strong knowledge of software architecture, cloud computing, system integration, and enterprise architecture frameworks.- Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or similar, as well as strong hands-on experience on AWS bedrock eco-system.- Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. AWS is a must.- Expertise in database technologies, both SQL (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (e.g., MongoDB, Cassandra).- Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools such as CI/CD, containerization, and microservices architecture. Experience in automated build deployment through CDK typescript will be an added advantage.- Proven leadership skills with the ability to drive cross-functional teams and foster a collaborative environment.- Excellent communication and presentation skills to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.- Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to technology challenges.Qualifications:- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.- 15+ years of experience in technology and architecture roles, with a track record of leadership.- Experience in managing large-scale technology projects and initiatives.This position offers the opportunity to shape the technology landscape of our organization and make a significant impact on our strategic direction.
