We have some of the most complex data + complicated user workflows and need someone with experience and a fire under them to help design world class user experiences.About UsulUsul is redefining how companies and governments interact around the world. We're backed by top defense investors, growing 60% MoM, and serving the fastest-growing defense companies as customers.About The RoleWe’re looking for a Head of Product Design who is fired up about building the product experience to transform how defense companies discover and win contracts. Our legacy competitors are clunky, user-hostile, and illegible—causing massive pain and costing companies millions. You'll help us build the antithesis.You'll work directly with our CPO and engineers to design our full-stack web applications. This means flying out to customers, watching their screens intently, and designing and shipping with engineering that same day. You'll define not just how our product looks, but how it works and what experiences we create.This isn't just shipping features—you're crafting the interface that makes AI accessible to an industry that thinks Excel is cutting-edge. You'll help rethink how defense contractors and governments interact in the modern era.Requirements4-10 years of product design experience, ideally at Seed-Series B startupIn person in San Francisco, 50-60 hours a weekWhat You Will Work OnIntuitive interfaces using Figma that are simple and actually make sense to usersTranslating User Feedback into product experiences with our CPO that defense contractors will rely upon and want to use dailyDesign systems and component libraries that scale across our platformDesign the interface for AI-first workflows that replace manual processes and reduce user effort by 100x.
