Project Managers are responsible for: Overseeing the planning, execution, and conclusion of diverse consulting engineering projects, ensuring timely and efficient completion. Utilizing appropriate communication tools to keep clients, firm management, and other stakeholders informed of project developments. Collaborating extensively with firm management, discipline leadership, and staff to ensure the expected quality of project delivery. Establishing and fortifying relationships with existing and potential clients, while addressing any concerns they might present. Implementing and reinforcing the firm's quality assurance and control protocols to align with industry benchmarks and client expectations. Generating detailed project reports that encompass milestones, financial overviews, and recommendations for future endeavors. Monitoring projected billings based on project progress and approving monthly invoicing for applicable projects. Preparing fee proposals, negotiating project fees and scope, and reviewing related contracts. Collaborating with management to ensure proper staffing and projected manpower for applicable projects. Qualifications: Minimum 5 years’ experience in consulting engineering or architecture. B.S. degree, preferably in Engineering, Architecture, or Project Management, preferred. Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred. Exemplary team leader with an enthusiasm for collaborative work. Demonstrated ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced setting. Excellent communication skills. Technical experience in Electrical or Mechanical disciplines is an advantage. Strong customer service and interpersonal skills. Attention to detail. Experience using project management software and tools. Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook; familiarity with AutoCAD and/or Revit is an advantage.
