Product Stewardship and Compliance PartnerJoin to apply for the Product Stewardship and Compliance Partner role at Saint-Gobain North AmericaProduct Stewardship and Compliance PartnerJoin to apply for the Product Stewardship and Compliance Partner role at Saint-Gobain North AmericaCome join Saint-Gobain North America’s Product Stewardship & Compliance Team to contribute to “Making the World a Better Home”.This is a newly created position for Product Stewardship & Compliance (PS&C) Partner, a well-rounded candidate within the SGNA Product Stewardship Team. The ideal candidate would have experience in Product Stewardship, Compliance and Hazard Communication. This candidate would work with the SGNA PS&C Team, Toxicology, Construction Product Teams, R&D, Sales and Compliance.Essential FunctionsProvide Product Stewardship support to businesses for compliance with EPA, REACH, Prop 65 and other global regulations, including PFAS, that govern Construction Products and Chemicals.Author Safety Datasheets and labels for a variety of Construction Products and Chemicals.Author Transparency Documents, HPD and Declare Labels and Product Attestations for the Construction Products and Chemicals.Support training and development to the teams for all applicable locations throughout Construction Products and Chemicals North American products sites.Provide regulatory and Hazard Communication support to fulfill requests/inquiries for Construction Products and Chemicals.Maintain up to date knowledge of country and state-specific legislation and ensure that the company’s manufactured products’ SDS and labeling reflect current regulatory requirements.Maintain up to date knowledge of country and state-specific legislation within EPA, TSCA, WHMIS, CA Prop 65, REACH and more.Support hazard communication needs of hazard assessments, and product stewardship reviews and product assessments for Construction Products and Chemicals.Gather, evaluate and organize compositional data for physical chemical, toxicological, environmental, and regulatory information in SDS authoring systems and generate documents according to established SOPs and workflow.IS THIS JOB FOR YOU?Required QualificationsBachelor’s Degree + 7-12 years of experience in Physical Sciences, such as Chemistry, Chemical/Environmental Engineering, Industrial Hygiene and Toxicology. Acceptable in Biology or other related fields. Master’s degree + 4-8 years of experience preferred.Experience in functional areas of Haz Com SDS Authoring, (2-5 yrs), Supporting Product Stewardship and Regulatory Compliance Activities (3-10 yrs), Construction Products and Chemicals (2-5) required.Master’s degree plus experience in functional areas of Haz Com SDS Authoring, (+2 yrs) Supporting Product Stewardship and Regulatory Compliance Activities (+2 yrs), Construction Products and Chemicals (+2) preferred.Experience using Product Stewardship and SDS authoring software.Experience with authoring SDS and product Labels.Knowledge, understanding and proficiency and practical experience in the following regulations: EPA, REACH, TSCA, RoHS, Prop 65 and other global regulations, including PFAS .Strong computer, technical writing and presentation skills.Team player who works well in a fast-paced environment.Familiar with MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Teams.LEGAL STATEMENTSaint-Gobain provides equal employment opportunities (EEO) to all employees and applicants for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, genetic information, marital status, amnesty, or status as a covered veteran in accordance with applicable federal, state and local laws.
