Ideal candidates for this position are dynamic, highly motivated individuals with a strong work-ethic and demonstrate a commitment to the growth of the firm as a leader in the middle market.Job DutiesManages and reviews work product of junior investment banking professionalsSupports Managing Directors in all aspects of firm marketing, business development, and deal executionOversees the preparation, analysis, and explanation of historical and projected financial informationOversees business due diligenceOversees the preparation of confidential information memoranda, management presentations, marketing materials, pitch books, and other presentations as neededOversees the creation of quantitative analyses, financial models, company valuation analyses, etc.Performs extensive and in-depth industry research to support client and marketing engagementsBuilds relationships and maintains direct contact with clients, prospective clients, and professional advisorsDevelops and implements a personal business development program to position the role for long-term successOther duties as requiredSupervisory ResponsibilitiesSupervises and leads a small team of Associates/AnalystsMay act as a Career Advisor to Associates and Senior Associates, as assignedEducationQualifications, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or accounting, requiredMBA, preferredExperienceSeven (7) or more years of professional work experience with a minimum of 4 years of direct transaction experience preferably within Investment Banking or other financial vertical, requiredLicense/CertificationsFINRA Series 7/79 and 63, requiredSoftwareProficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite, requiredResearch tools such as CapitalIQ, preferredLanguageN/AOther Knowledge, Skills, & AbilitiesSuperior organizational and time management skills and the ability to efficiently manage multiple projects in a fast-paced work environmentExcellent written and verbal communication, listening, problem solving, interpersonal, and relationship-building skillsStrong financial modeling, research, and financial analysis skillsAbility to conduct thorough, independent quantitative and qualitative researchAbility to travel as neededIndividual salaries that are offered to a candidate are determined after consideration of numerous factors including but not limited to the candidate’s qualifications, experience, skills, and geography.National Range: $150,000 - $225,000Maryland Range: $150,000 - $225,000NYC/Long Island/Westchester Range: $150,000 - $225,000About UsJoin us at BDO, where you will find more than a career, you’ll find a place where your work is impactful, and you are valued for your individuality.
