Associate Directorat Berkadia(View all jobs)El Segundo, CaliforniaThe OpportunityThe Associate Director will assist Investment Advisors in representing clients in the buying and selling of commercial properties. They will act as an intermediary in negotiations between buyers and sellers.ResponsibilitiesPromote the sale of commercial real estate through various marketing channels.Prepare and provide legal documents required for transactions.Build and maintain client relationships within the assigned region.Collaborate with Mortgage Bankers on clients and transactions to develop business and the Berkadia brand.Accompany buyers during property tours and advise on property suitability and value.Stay informed about market trends by reviewing literature and attending industry events.Travel up to 15% domestically as needed.Perform other duties as assigned.QualificationsExperience as a Transaction Analyst, Underwriter, or Associate is preferred.Ability to meet deadlines in a team environment.Strong organizational skills and multi-tasking ability.Attention to detail.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Additional InformationBerkadia, a joint venture of Berkshire Hathaway and Jefferies Financial Group, is a leader in commercial real estate services, supporting clients throughout their asset lifecycle with innovative technology and deep relationships.We are committed to providing reasonable accommodations for applicants with disabilities.
