Job DescriptionAnytime Fitness Encinitas is seeking a high-performance leader who is action-oriented, organized, resourceful, and passionate about transforming lives and business success to join our team as a Manager for Anytime Fitness.JOB SUMMARY: As a General Manager, you will be responsible for providing leadership and daily direction to the fitness team in the gym. This critical position requires a solid understanding of sales and operational excellence. The Manager must execute internal and external lead generation strategies to increase membership sales and promote a welcoming, encouraging culture that celebrates our members. This leader must have a high-caliber approach to coaching and staff development.Key Position Responsibilities:Staff Leadership and TrainingResponsible for recruiting, hiring, and onboarding all new employees.Plan and execute staff training, ongoing coaching, and development for high performance of each team member.Lead the scheduling of all studio staff.Work with the team to improve processes and ensure a quality experience for members.Lead performance management activities, including goal setting, coaching, career development, and performance reviews.Provide performance coaching for employees not meeting expectations.Act as a coach to other Managers and as a resource to gym employees to inspire engagement in their roles.SalesManage the sales process and work to exceed sales targets for Team Training, 1-on-1 Training, memberships, etc.Lead and coordinate initial and ongoing sales initiatives (pre-sale events, gym events, marketing, outreach).Oversee the sales process and systems.Build and maintain team training capacity through scheduling optimization.Drive sales through promotional activities and outreach programs.Business OperationsMeet performance metrics (KPIs) related to customer service feedback, revenue, inventory, payroll, facilities, and other operational costs.Audit and verify payroll information each cycle.Ensure compliance with business policies for daily operations.Maintain consistent branding in all actions.Prioritize performance issues that impact profitability.CultureDevelop a high-energy club culture through contests and incentives.Facilitate inspiring team meetings to build trust and accountability.Conduct regular sales staff meetings and attend required meetings/webinars.Lead by example in all club activities.JOB QUALIFICATIONS:Excellent leadership and management skills to foster a positive environment for staff and clients.Sales experience preferred.Management experience preferred, including overseeing staff hiring, training, support, discipline, and termination.Strong verbal and written communication skills.Ability to multitask and address client and staff concerns.Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word) and willingness to learn our operating system. #J-18808-Ljbffr
