OverviewTorchLight Hire is seeking a Head of Brand & Marketing to lead brand strategy and demand generation efforts for a fast-growing, venture-backed SaaS company at the intersection of public policy and artificial intelligence. If you are a strategic, hands-on B2B marketer with a passion for driving impact and building brands from the ground up, this could be your next move. Preference given to candidates with background in government affairs, policy, or advocacy.LocationQualified applicants must be in the DC Metro area; this is a hybrid role requiring 3 days/week on-site in Washington, DC.U.S. citizenship or a permanent residency card is required for eligibility.EmploymentDirect hire opportunity; full-time, 40 hours per week. Hybrid work environment.Role ResponsibilitiesDefine and execute a compelling brand identity and go-to-market strategy across all marketing channelsDesign and manage integrated demand generation campaigns to drive qualified prospect meetingsDevelop thought leadership content, including blog posts, op-eds, white papers, and event panelsOversee all digital marketing initiatives including website content, SEO/SEM, CRM/email campaigns, and analyticsPlan and execute media outreach, press releases, and influencer engagement within the DC policy ecosystemManage event marketing strategy and execution, both virtual and in-personCollaborate cross-functionally with product, sales, and customer success teamsManage marketing vendors, contractors, and freelancers as neededAnalyze marketing performance and optimize campaigns for pipeline growth and brand awarenessSkills and Experience8+ years of experience in B2B marketing for SaaS, government technology, or policy-related sectorsStrong background in brand development and full-funnel marketing executionExceptional writing and communication skills; ability to translate complex ideas into engaging contentKnowledge of the Washington, DC public policy landscape is requiredExperience using CRM, marketing automation, and analytics platforms (e.g., HubSpot, Zoho, GA)Proven ability to work in fast-paced startup environments with comfort around ambiguityStrong leadership, project management, and vendor oversight skillsExperience in event marketing and media relations is a plusInterest in artificial intelligence and its role in policy or communications is preferredBenefitsMedical insuranceVision insurance401(k)Seniority levelNot ApplicableEmployment typeFull-timeJob functionMarketing, Public Relations, and SalesIndustriesTechnology, Information and Media #J-18808-Ljbffr
