OverviewData Architect role at Booz Allen Hamilton International (U.K.) Ltd. Hybrid/Remote work options. The opportunity focuses on data access analysis, data acquisitions, archive recovery, and implementing the data strategy. You will define, design, and build dimensional and relational databases, develop data warehousing blueprints, evaluate hardware and software platforms, and integrate systems. You will leverage Agile design approaches to develop, manage, evaluate, and improve tools and processes, and develop and implement enterprise data strategies for the management and sharing of data. You will also ensure that enterprise data assets are governed by a comprehensive data management approach. Responsibilities Perform data access analysis and develop strategies for data acquisitions, archive recovery, and implementation of the data strategy. Define, design, and build dimensional and relational databases; develop data warehousing blueprints; evaluate hardware and software platforms; and integrate systems. Leverage Agile design approaches to develop, manage, evaluate, and improve tools and processes; develop and implement enterprise data strategies for the management and sharing of data. Ensure enterprise data assets are governed by a comprehensive data management approach. Design connective data fabric solutions to aid clients in complex systems-of-systems challenges for next-generation MI applications. Apply model-driven design principles to meet client mission performance requirements; decompose and manage performance budgets using digital engineering tools; develop roadmaps and work packages aligned with project priorities. Contribute to proposal efforts and author technical content; identify and pursue expanded or new technical scope with current and new customers; develop technical products to support capture of additional work. Build and maintain trusted client relationships through technical excellence; communicate complex technical concepts to leadership and non-technical audiences. Qualifications Experience designing cloud and on-premises agnostic scalable data architectures Experience developing for Data Lakes, Data Warehouses, or Data Lakehouses Experience developing data orchestration pipelines and workflow automation Experience modeling complex data routing networks and optimizing dynamic bandwidth Knowledge of Tasking, Collection, Processing, Exploitation, and Dissemination (TCPED) TS/SCI clearance Bachelor's degree in a STEM field Nice If You Have Experience with Palantir Foundry or similar data applications Experience with MBSE tools such as Cameo Enterprise Architecture or similar Experience in Agile and DevSecOps software development Knowledge of automation techniques using AI/ML Master's degree in a STEM field Clearance Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is required.
