We are seeking a self-motivated and accomplished team player who uses critical thinking and data to drive improvements in Nasuni’s core technology.As the Principal C++/Go/Linux Engineer, you will...ResponsibilitiesParticipate in requirements analysis, design, design reviews and other work related to expanding Nasuni’s offeringTake ownership of one or more existing system components, design and implement new functionality, and maintain and support existing featuresImprove performance, scalability, and stability working closely with QA and Performance teamsWork with customer support to address escalationImplement code using the team’s coding standards and guidelinesProvide code coverage through unit testsPerform code reviews for self and the teamUse Python and Python testing framework, Pytest, to write tests and troubleshoot issues uncovered by testsAuthor tests and contribute to the development of CI/CD pipelinesTroubleshoot root cause issues in own code or assigned areasMinimum qualificationsBS in EE, CE or CS7+ years of experience in software development of storage (block, object or filesystem), database or distributed computing systemsSolid understanding of Object-Oriented Design and expertise in Object-Oriented ProgrammingExpert skills in either C++ or Go and multi-threaded programming in Linux environmentExpert user-space debugging skillsExperience with system level performance analysis methods and tools is desirableKnowledge of networking and experience in developing application protocols is a plusIf expertise in C++, familiarity with Go is desired and vice versaFamiliarity with PythonStrong written and verbal communication skillsAbout NasuniNasuni delivers the world’s best NAS solution, built for the cloud, ready for AI.
