In this full-time, onsite role, you'll analyze blueprints, calculate material needs, and prepare accurate project bids. You'll work closely with project managers and sales staff to ensure that each project starts with a precise and well-documented scope. We offer competitive pay, reliable benefits, and a family-like environment, with a focus on professionalism and high performance.Key Responsibilities:Analyze construction drawings, blueprints, and project specifications to produce take-offs and estimates.Calculate quantities of insulation and other materials needed for various projects.Collaborate with project managers and sales staff to develop cost-effective bids and proposals.Prepare and submit detailed estimates and pricing documentation within required deadlines.Assist in updating and maintaining a database of pricing, vendor quotes, and material costs.Track and organize bid documents, RFIs, and scope of work municate with suppliers and subcontractors for updated pricing and material availability.Ensure all estimates are accurate, competitive, and aligned with project goals.Assist in value engineering efforts and recommend cost-saving alternatives where appropriate.Qualifications:Minimum of 2 years of experience in estimating, take-offs, or construction-related fields.Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction documents.Strong attention to detail and fortable working with numbers and measurements.Excellent communication and teamwork skills.Proficient in Microsoft Office; familiarity with estimating software is a plus.Ability to work independently and prioritize deadlines.Benefits:Weekly Pay CycleMedical Insurance Options401(k) Retirement Savings ProgramPaid Time Off (Vacation, Sick, Holidays)Company events and team outingsUniforms providedTech package (tablet or smartphone)Supportive, team-based work environmentCareer growth opportunities through cross-training and exposure to project managementSchedule:Full-TimeMonday–FridayLocation:This is an onsite role based at DJG Insulation's office in New Jersey.Equal Employment OpportunityWe are proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.
