People Team Director

OverviewDirector of The People Team responsible for overseeing all aspects of human resources practices and aligning HR strategies with organizational goals to support a positive, productive pensationBase pay range: $175,000.00/yr - $200,000.00/yr. This range is provided by Lawyers for Justice, PC. Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience — talk with your recruiter to learn more.What you will doLead the development and execution of HR strategies aligned with overall business objectives.Oversee the full employee lifecycle: recruitment, onboarding, performance management, development, retention, and offboarding.Manage employee relations, providing coaching and guidance to leadership.Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations across several states.Manage HR metrics and reporting to evaluate organizational trends and inform decision-making.Lead HR policy development, updates, and enforcement.Partner with department heads to support organizational development, change management, and succession planning.Supervise and mentor the People Team members.QualificationsMBA and HR certification preferred.Minimum of 15 years of progressive HR experience, including at least 5 years in a leadership -depth knowledge of labor laws, leave laws in several states, and HR best practices.Proven ability to build trust across all levels of an organization.Strong communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.Experience in fast-paced, growth-oriented environments preferred.What we offerPaid time off.Schedule: Monday to Friday, in-office role in Glendale, CA.
