Intellectual Property Attorney - AM LAW

I am currently working with an AM LAW ranked firm, who are actively looking to hire an associate to join their growing Intellectual Property group in Chicago.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and manage intellectual property litigation cases, from pre-litigation strategy to trial and appeals.Conduct legal research and draft legal documents, including complaints, motions, and briefs.Provide legal counsel on intellectual property matters, including patents, trademarks, copyrights, and trade secrets.Collaborate with clients, experts, and other stakeholders to build compelling legal strategies.Stay abreast of changes in intellectual property laws and industry trends.Assist in alternative dispute resolution methods, such as mediation and arbitration.QualificationsJuris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.Active state bar membership and eligibility to practice law in Illinois.2+ years of experience as an Intellectual Property Litigation Attorney, with a strong track record in handling complex IP -depth knowledge of intellectual property laws, including patents, trademarks, copyrights, and trade secrets.Exceptional analytical, research, and communication skills.Proven ability to work effectively in a collaborative and fast-paced environment.Professional development and a fantastic opportunity to progress in your career as an attorney.Collaborative and inclusive work environment.The base compensation range is $230k-280kBenefits include comprehensive health, dental and vision plans (including spouse and children cover), 401(k) plan, time off programs, mental health programs, generous paid parental leave, life and disability insurance, and Healthcare and Dependent Care Flexible Spending Accounts.Equal Opportunity Employer/Veterans/DisabledTo read our Candidate Privacy Information Statement, which explains how we will use your information, please navigate to Privacy Information Statement - LHHWe are committed to protecting and respecting your privacy.
