OverviewProduct Owner, Tax - Americas Tax Technology Group (ATTG) Senior Manager (Multiple Positions) (1638776), Ernst & Young U.S. LLP, Tysons (McLean), VA.Overview about the role and responsibilities are described below, focusing on product ownership for Tax technology applications and related lifecycle activities.ResponsibilitiesOversee applications and products throughout their lifecycle, ensuring business relevance, adoption and continuous improvement.Assist with annual planning based on roadmaps and the development of business cases in support of governance processes.Coordinate activities at all levels of the organization on issues related to the products.Direct the continual upgrading of ATTG products, procedures and operating environments to stay current with technological progress and business needs.Develop annual budgets and manage expenditures to operate within approved guidelines.Provide field communications regarding planned or unplanned production issues.Coordinate or deliver training to Product Support Services (PSS) team members on new releases and updates to the application.Formulate test plans and strategies to coordinate and execute user acceptance testing.Make decisions and recommend approaches based on quality review results.Understand tax law and technology implications at a high level; provide leadership and guidance to help team members understand focus area strategies and knowledge needs.Lead and direct teams of professionals with diverse skills, providing constructive feedback and coaching.Develop and maintain long-term client relationships and networks; manage risk in delivering quality client services; generate and manage new business opportunities.Travel domestically up to 5% as required to serve client needs.Minimum RequirementsMust have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Accounting, Finance, Information Systems or a related field, and 8 years of related work experience, or a Master’s degree with 7 years of related work experience.Must have 6 years of experience in tax domain knowledge including financial compliance and reporting vendor software.Must have 6 years of experience managing implementation teams across all phases of the software development lifecycle.Must have 4 years of experience conducting design thinking sessions and developing business capability matrices.Must have 4 years of experience converting business and technical requirements into solutions.Must have 4 years of experience supporting peer teams (infrastructure, operations, enterprise architecture, information security).Must have 4 years of experience managing relationships with business sponsors and vendors to facilitate development and implementation of products.Must have 4 years of combined management experience overseeing a functional team, utilization, assignments, and performance standards.Required domestic travel up to 5%.Employer will accept any suitable combination of education, training or experience.What We OfferWe offer a comprehensive compensation and benefits package with base salary. The base salary for this job is $226,540 per year, plus Total Rewards including medical and dental coverage, pension and 401(k) plans, and paid time off.
