This role entails supervising the day-to-day operations, including planning, directing, controlling, and evaluating the offices, operations, and programs within the organization. The duties include preparing and presenting daily and monthly reports, as well as enforcing disciplinary measures in alignment with established practices and policies, ensuring proper documentation.Salary range: $120,000 - $130,000Key ResponsibilitiesEffectively communicating company goals, objectives, and policies to employees at the locationCoordinating with local staff to maintain consistency in policies and proceduresEnsuring adherence to all company safety policies and procedures within the assigned areaMaintaining contacts with key customers to enhance service levels, address and resolve service issues, while maintaining or improving service qualityAssisting in establishing performance goals and strategic manpower planningIdentifying areas for training improvements within the divisionDeveloping annual capital and operating budgets, monitoring results, and ensuring attainment of business, financial, and asset management objectivesPreparing necessary reports and keeping senior management informed on business issues and pertinent mattersAssisting with the setup of operations departments for contract start-ups within the assigned region or as neededPerforming other duties as assigned by management to ensure smooth operation of the locationRequirementsEducation and ExperienceParatransit operations experience requiredLabor relations experience, inclusive of contract negotiations and arbitrationsProven experience dealing with state and local governmentCost control and financial/budget experience handling multiple locationsNecessary Knowledge, Skills and AbilitiesKnowledge of federal and state employment laws (FTA, FMCSR, Title VII, OSHA, etc.)Excellent communication skills both written and verbalHighly organized with ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously while exceeding established goals and objectivesPoise, tact, diplomacy and good judgmentExcellent presentation skillsExcellent customer service and interpersonal skillsDetail oriented and effective time managementSelf-starter and highly motivatedProficient in Microsoft Office software packagesTrapeze and VDS experience helpfulOver 50% travel predominately within assigned locationPre-Employment RequirementsMust submit to drug testing and a background checkPhysical RequirementsMust be able to work shifts or flexible work schedules as neededMost work is indoors in air conditioned or well-ventilated facilitiesWork is performed in an office or cubicle space with a telephone and computerLong periods spent sitting, typing, or looking at a computer screenFor more information, please visit the Transdev careers page.
