Position: Consumable Territory Manager At STERIS, we help our Customers create a healthier and safer world by providing innovative healthcare and life science product and service solutions around the globe. Position Summary As a Consumable Territory Manager at STERIS, you are the primary contact and sales consultant responsible for selling and supporting the Infection Prevention Technologies (IPT) Consumable portfolio of products. You will be responsible for protecting and expanding the base amount of business for Instrument Cleaning Chemistries and Sterility Assurance Products within hospitals and surgery centers. This territory covers San Jose, Palo Alto, Stockton, Modesto, Santa Cruz et al. What you will do as a Consumable Territory Manager Develop, communicate, and execute a strategic business plan for the Consumable product line. Assure proper pre-call planning and preparedness; establish routine call patterns and Customer visits within the territory. Define top business priorities and activities; work to maintain proactive measures and minimize reactive elements. Achieve financial objectives through development and execution of yearly business plans for Consumable products, forecast monthly/quarterly, and achieve all business unit objectives (revenue, gross margin, and focus product). Meet or exceed customer expectations and communicate customers' needs through appropriate channels. Integrate into the Customer's business world via membership to Customer group functions and associations (local chapters, SGNA, APIC, CS, AORN, etc.). Uncover Customer goals and align our products, services and technologies to solve Customer issues. Utilize value-added services in the selling process to differentiate STERIS from competitors (TSSR, in-service video, sizing studies, equipment audits, CEU training, proportioners). Ensure thorough knowledge of GPO contracts and their application to accounts. Participate in new product sales training to stay informed about STERIS products, services, and technologies and their customer application. The Experience, Skills and Abilities Needed Required Bachelor's degree Minimum of 5 years in successful B2B or medical device sales experience Must be able to comply with hospital/customer credentialing requirements Preferred 2 years of successful Consumables experience Demonstrated ability to successfully sell in the SPD space, manage a large portfolio of products across multiple sell points, and negotiate large deals with senior decision makers Strong understanding of the hospital buying process including the role of National Accounts, GPO, IDN and distributors What STERIS Offers We value our employees and are committed to providing a comprehensive benefits package that supports your health, well-being, and financial future. This position is incentive plan eligible, at target earnings of $106,000.00- $152,000.00, depending on performance and level. Minimum pay rates offered will comply with county/city minimums, if higher than range listed.
