The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cryptography, data security, and product development, combined with proven leadership skills. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, strategic thinking, and the ability to manage cross-functional teams to deliver innovative and secure solutions.What you get to do in this role:Manage product development activitiesWork with product management, design, support and other dev teams to create high-quality solutionsManage daily activities of the development teamSolve difficult and sometimes ambiguous problemsManage departmental resources, staffing, mentoring, and enhancing and maintaining a best-of-class engineering teamQualificationsTo be successful in this role you have:Experience in leveraging or critically thinking about how to integrate AI into work processes, decision-making, or problem-solving.Experience with Key Management Systems and Hardware Security Modules (HSMs).Stay updated on emerging threats and advancements in cryptography to incorporate state-of-the-art practices.Experience managing employees who require little oversight in completing assigned work.Experience providing direction, delegate assignments, and support to accomplish tasks with their team.Experience with agile development environments.Fluency in one or more relevant programming languages (Java, C++, Python, JavaScript).Experience completing projects based on company priorities, context, risks and desired outcomes.Familiarity with compliance standards like FIPS 140-2/3, PCI DSS, HIPAA, GDPR.Not sure if you meet every qualification? Sales positions generally offer a competitive On Target Earnings (OTE) incentive compensation structure. Please note that the base pay shown is a guideline, and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies, and work location.
