Company descriptionOur client, a leading general contractor in the data center space provide end-to-end services such as: design, construction, operations, etc for Fortune 500 clients.Job descriptionThe Director is responsible for project management and leadership for the Central market. This shall include, but not be limited to site management and leadership for individual buildings + full projects, including coordinating subcontractors, material and equipment, ensuring that specifications are being strictly followed, and work is proceeding on schedule and within budget.Support general leadership of the marketLead data center campus’ teamsProvide hands on management support for individual projectsManage overall budgets and corresponding subcontractor/vendor/consultant budgetsManage overall schedulesSchedule subcontractors, consultants, and vendors to ensure timely completion.Perform quality control duties and responsibilities regarding the work being performed.Ensure that subcontractor is fully executing and complying with the contracted scope of work.Coordinate required inspections with local jurisdictions.Identify subcontractor non-compliance with safety, health, and environmental quality standards.Identify conflicts in construction progress and communicate them to project team for resolution.Maintain daily log (written) of activities on the jobsite.May perform Field Superintendent duties at multiple job sites, simultaneously.QualificationsEDUCATION AND EXPERIENCEBachelor’s degree, or equivalent experience, required7+ years Construction experience, required3+ years Data Center experience, preferredProficient in Microsoft Office (specifically Excel and Project)Yardi, Procor and Prolog experience, preferred #J-18808-Ljbffr
