Join Red Thread as an AV Sales Engineer, where you'll bridge the gap between client needs and AV innovation—designing smart, integrated solutions that shape modern workplaces. This is a design-driven, client-facing role ideal for a proactive professional who thrives at the intersection of creativity, engineering, and customer collaboration.WHAT YOU'LL DOAs a key member of our AV Engineering team, you’ll:Support Sales Teams: Collaborate with sales during early client engagement, assisting in site visits, needs assessments, and presenting solutions.Design Solutions: Translate client requirements into high-performance AV system designs including UC platforms (Zoom/Teams), Audio Systems, LED walls, Camera switching, and Collaboration tools.Develop Documentation: Produce equipment diagrams, infrastructure requirements, executive summaries, and cost estimates.Client-Focused Engineering: Attend design meetings with clients, architects, and consultants to ensure alignment with vision and technical feasibility.Showcase Technology: Coordinate with vendors to demonstrate emerging tech and evaluate products for client presentations.Project Handoffs: Work cross-functionally to ensure smooth transitions from design to implementation.Quality Control: Review completed systems to ensure execution matches design intent.Drive Innovation: Stay up to date on AV trends and mentor others in the department through knowledge-sharing and leadership.WHAT YOU BRING5+ years of experience in the AV industry in design or engineering roles.CTS-D and/or CTS-I certification (preferred).Proficiency in AutoCAD or Revit (preferred).Strong technical acumen and the ability to read blueprints and schematics.Excellent communication and presentation skills.Mastery of Microsoft Office Suite (Teams, Outlook, Excel, Word).Detail-oriented with a sharp eye for follow-through and accuracy.Ability to manage multiple priorities and thrive under deadlines.Collaborative mindset with a passion for problem-solving.WHY RED THREAD?We’re more than an AV integrator—we’re workplace transformation specialists.
