Overview Epstein is seeking a Senior Design Engineer for the design and plan production of greenfield or brownfield site improvement projects including commercial, residential, industrial, and mixed-use located throughout the country. The ideal candidate will be self-driven, proactive and will have experience specific to private development. This position requires candidates to design innovative and technically sound solutions in accordance with project requirements and applicable codes. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering5+ years of successful project experience within a consulting engineering firmProficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, including 3D surface and pipe design modelingAwareness of other disciplines and the interrelationship of the various elements of designStrong analytical skills; knowledge of analysis methodsStrong interpersonal and communication skillsKnowledge of design standards, plan production procedures, and specifications is preferredKnowledge of hydrology and hydraulic design is preferred, including familiarity with sewer pipe and detention basin design using PondPack and/or Hydroflow. Having knowledge of 1D and 2D modelling in HEC-RAS, XP-SWMM, and ICM is a plus. Individual compensation is determined by several factors, including relevant education, experience and training, qualifications, skill sets, licensure/certifications and location. Employees are also eligible for discretionary annual bonuses based on both company and individual performance. The salary range for this position is $75,000 - $95,000 annually.
