You will develop and mature process workflows, establish critical-to-quality metrics, and use statistical process control to ensure successful technology release in Apple products.DescriptionGiven the start-up nature of the project, a successful engineer needs to take ownership of projects, work independently, adapt to evolving priorities, collaborate effectively, and tackle challenges proactively.Develop, evaluate, and improve microelectronic laser, interconnect, stacking, and packaging processes.Drive process readiness activities and prepare for transfer to manufacturing.Implement procedures for inspecting, testing, and evaluating equipment, process, and product reliability.Establish SPC systems and maintain data collection for performance tracking.Coordinate with cross-functional teams on schedules, metrics, and risk mitigation.Collaborate with vendors on specifications, equipment procurement, and quality evaluation.Define critical-to-quality metrics and implement solutions to achieve reproducibility.Minimum QualificationsBachelor's degreeAbility to travel domestically and internationally up to 20%Preferred QualificationsMaster's degree and 10+ years relevant experienceExperience in thin-films development, assembly, stacking, packaging, or testingLeadership in engineering projectsProficiency with statistics and data analysis tools (JMP, Minitab, Python)Strong engineering methodology and quality assurance knowledgeAdvanced knowledge of laser systems and automation in a semiconductor contextExperience with measurement and characterization techniques (FTIR, SEM, TEM, etc.)Pay & BenefitsThe base pay range is $165,500 to $293,800, depending on skills and experience.
