SoC Power Analysis and Optimization EngineerCupertino, California, United States | HardwareDescriptionThe main responsibility of this role is to drive automation for SOC power optimization. Responsibilities include:Collaborating with SOC power team members to automate power analysis and optimization tasks.Exploring new methodologies to analyze power data, creating power metrics to identify optimization opportunities, and developing automated approaches to improve SOC power efficiency across IPs.Researching machine learning approaches to optimize SOC power, including training data preparation, ML-based solutions for power simulation, optimization, and modeling.Working with cross-functional teams to deploy power optimization automation, reviewing results, and refining methodologies for efficiency, runtime, and broader design scope.Minimum QualificationsBachelor's degree in a relevant field and at least 3 years of industry experience.Preferred QualificationsMSEE preferred.Familiarity with machine learning algorithms, programming, and scripting in Python.Experience with ASIC power analysis, optimization, SOC design flow, and methodology.Knowledge of Verilog, SystemVerilog, computer architecture, logic, and circuits design.Experience with signal processing, silicon power measurement, low power design, and power optimization is a plus.Strong communication skills required for interfacing with various teams.Note: The salary range for this role is $147,400 to $272,100, depending on skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
