The Skydio team combines deep expertise in artificial intelligence, best-in-class hardware and software product development, and operational excellence to empower a broader, more diverse audience of drone users - from first responders to insurance claims adjusters, utilities, and more!About the role:We are looking for an Electrical Engineer who will help architect, develop, and refine the electrical systems that bring together state-of-the-art computing hardware, sensing, and power systems.How you'll make an impact:Define the architecture and select components for a complex embedded electro-mechanical and optical system.Work and direct others through detailed design of main logic, interconnect, power, RF and sensing systems around a mobile tegrate sophisticated cameras and imaging corporate DFM and other manufacturing considerations on the way to high-quality mass production.Create and carry out a validation plan for the system electronics.Solve related reliability, yield, and performance issues through development and into production.What makes you a good fit:Experience shipping high-volume consumer electronic products in a senior or architect-level role.Mobile SoC design.High speed digital design.Connected products (wifi, cellular).Troubleshooting EMI/RF pensation: At Skydio, our compensation packages for full-time employees include competitive base salaries, equity in the form of options, comprehensive benefits, and various incentives and stipends. Compensation will vary based on factors, including skill level, proficiencies, transferable knowledge, and experience. Relocation assistance may also be provided for eligible roles. The annual base salary range for this position is $138,000 - 212,500*.
