Service Manager/Service Director needed for leading import dealership in Western Mass. The successful candidate is an energetic and motivated automotive Service Director who is process driven, consistent, and someone who truly leads by example. This opportunity is with a stable dealership known for its many long-term employees. Beautiful facility and reputable dealership group. The Service Manager hired will have support from upper management to get their job done as well as Chris Collins Coaching. It is important that the person hired is open to coaching and development from Chris Collins Coaching and is committed to growing their professional career and leadership skills.The dealer is looking for a Service Director that sees the big picture, in addition to the day-to-day details, and thrives on maximizing their department’s potential as there is definite room for growth in the service department with the right leader in place. It is important that the Service Director hired believes in providing a great customer experience so that customer retention and CSI are in the green. Likewise, it is important that the Service Director hired holds meaningful meetings, actively spends time training their team members with 1:1 sessions and is someone who loves to see their employees grow and flourish. This is a great opportunity for a motivated Service Director who knows how to make it happen, is energized to come to work day in and day out, and loves building a team and culture that strives for continued success. It is very important that the person hired is a great team builder, leads by example, and is a resource to their employees. Experience on CDK is highly preferred.Responsibilities:Oversee the day-to-day operations of the service departmentCreate and implement processes to increase efficiency, customer satisfaction, and profitability in the service department.Set a clear vision for the Service Department to achieve targeted performance goals.Hold daily and weekly meetings for the department, as well as 1:1s with individual team members.Ensure the department has green CSI through building and maintaining relationships with customers and ensuring that they receive high-quality service.Oversee the Service Advisors and ensure that ROs are written up and closed out in a timely manner.Manage and supervise the service technicians, ensuring that all work is performed to the highest standards and within established timelines.Provide training to service technicians to help them improve their skills and knowledge.Recruit, interview and train service staff; handle performance reviewsCreate an exceptional customer experience to drive customer loyaltyDevelop and manage budgets and operating plans for the service department, monitoring performance and making adjustments as needed.Maintain a high level of knowledge about the latest automotive technologies and stay current on industry trends.Collaborate with other departments within the dealership to ensure seamless and efficient operations.Monitor/control all warranty activity to ensure compliance with policies and proceduresEnsure the Service area is customer-customer ready with proper displays and informationOther duties as requiredCompensation / Benefits:Compensation range will be in the $170,000 - $200,000 range for the successful candidate.2-3 weeks paid vacation!Health Insurance (company pays for employee premium)Dental Insurance, Vision Insurance, Disability Insurance401(K)How To Apply:Please apply with your most recent resume at or LinkedIn, and / or call us at 508-620-6300.ASG honors confidentiality and will never contact your current employer or put your current job in jeopardy!*all resume submissions will be kept in the strictest confidence* #J-18808-Ljbffr
