AQ Technology Partners is a boutique investment bank focused on the software ecosystem, specializing in M&A and financial sponsor transactions.We are seeking an experienced Investment Banking Associate to join our team supporting transactions with growth software companies based in our Redwood City, CA office. Both investment banking and technology industry experience required.Our Associates assume significant responsibility by working closely with senior bankers, overseeing and executing day-to-day deal activities, and managing and training analysts. Key responsibilities include the following:Partner with and support senior bankers in strategic M&A, private equity, and growth equity processesInitiate and manage the development of qualitative and quantitative analyses in support of transaction executionResponsible for modeling complex transaction scenarios and/or the oversight of such modelingDevelop presentations in support of new business developmentMaintain a positive and supportive firm culture, focused on the effective delivery of world-class service to our clientsTrain and mentor analyst staffA successful candidate will possess the following characteristics:2-3 years investment banking experience as an analyst and/or an associate in the technology or software sectorStrong academic performanceDemonstrated capability to lead and manage projectsExcellent organizational, execution and time management skillsTeam player with competitive drive; motivated self-starter with collaborative, team-oriented approach to successStrong communication and presentation skills in both large and small group settingsExceptional critical thinking and problem solving abilityFINRA Series 63 and 79 registration #J-18808-Ljbffr
