Corporate Accounting Manager

The Corporate Accounting Manager will oversee month-end close procedures, lead continuous improvement projects, and provide leadership to the accounting team. Responsibilities include preparing journal entries, assisting with external reporting, implementing new accounting standards, and communicating with the external audit team.The role requires a BS in Accounting (Master's and CPA preferred), 5+ years of experience, strong knowledge of US GAAP, proficiency in ERP software (SAP preferred), and excellent communication skills. Experience in manufacturing or distribution environments and with multiple currencies is preferred. The manager will report to the Americas Controller and assist other finance managers.ResponsibilitiesManage corporate month-end close procedures with the global finance team.Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of global finance and general ledger reporting structure.Lead continuous improvement projects in accounting and treasury areas.Provide leadership and guidance to the accounting team, including hiring, training, and development.Prepare journal entries and review the monthly general ledger account reconciliations.Assist with preparation of quarterly and annual external reporting requirements.Implement new accounting standards and document accounting municate with the external audit team to ensure smooth audit processes.Document and monitor internal controls to ensure compliance.Report to the Americas Controller and assist the Global Tax Director and other finance managers regarding financial results and special reporting.QualificationsBS in Accounting; Master’s preferred, CPA preferred.5+ years of accounting and finance experience; public accounting or consumer packaged goods (CPG) preferred.Strong understanding of accounting theory and practices.Demonstrated knowledge of US GAAP, including willingness to research and resolve accounting applications.Proficiency in ERP software (SAP preferred) and Microsoft suite of products.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Experience in manufacturing or distribution environment and with multiple currencies preferred.Strong work ethic and self-starter capabilities in a dynamic and cross-functional team environment.Ability to operate efficiently and independently, and to seek constant improvement in achieving team petitive base salary starting at $100,000, with potential up to 50% higher based on experience.Annual corporate bonus eligibility based on company and individual prehensive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) with company match, life and long-term disability insurance and generous paid time off.About SRAMSRAM LLC is one of the world's largest suppliers of components to the bike industry.
