The Head of Accounting is a senior-level position responsible for overseeing the accounting operations of Repli. This role requires a strong background in financial management and accounting principles. The individual in this position will lead the accounting team, ensure compliance with financial regulations, develop and implement accounting policies, and provide strategic financial guidance to the organization.Oversee and direct all accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger functionsLead and mentor accounting team, providing guidance and support to ensure high performance and professional developmentDevelop and implement accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls to ensure accuracy and compliance with financial regulationsEstablish clear communication protocols and performance metrics for the accounting teamFinancial Reporting and AnalysisPrepare and review financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP)Conduct financial analysis and provide insights to senior management on financial performance, trends, and variancesDevelop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the efficiency and effectiveness of accounting operationsCreate and distribute regular financial reports to leadership and stakeholdersCompliance and Risk ManagementEnsure compliance with federal, state, and local financial regulations and reporting requirementsCoordinate and oversee external audits, internal audits, and tax filingsIdentify and mitigate financial risks by implementing robust internal controls and risk management strategiesStay current with changes in financial regulations and accounting standardsTax Oversight and ManagementOversee the relationship with the external tax accounting firmEvaluate the current tax accounting partnership and potentially identify and transition to a new tax partner if warrantedEnsure timely and accurate preparation and filing of all tax documentsWork with tax partners to identify and implement strategies that optimize the company's tax positionReview tax filings and ensure all tax obligations are met in a compliant and timely mannerTeam Task ManagementOversee all accounting processes executed by the team, including but not limited to:Month-end and year-end close processesAccounts payable and receivable managementBank reconciliations and cash flow managementPayroll processing and complianceFixed asset managementFinancial system maintenance and optimizationRevenue recognition and deferred revenue managementVendor and contractor payment processingClient billing and collectionsCredit card reconciliation and expense reporting required skills.Experience with ERP systems and financial reporting softwareExperience managing offshore or remote accounting teamsStrong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlinesExperience in a public accounting firm or a large corporationDemonstrated ability to drive process improvements and implement best practices in accounting operationsExperience evaluating and selecting professional service partners (tax firms, auditors, etc.) education and experience.Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field; CPA certification requiredMinimum of 8-10 years of experience in accounting or financial management, with at least 5 years in a leadership roleStrong knowledge of GAAP, financial regulations, and accounting principlesExperience managing remote teams, preferably with international team membersExcellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skillsStrong leadership and team management abilities, with a focus on mentoring and professional developmentExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively present financial information to senior managementProficiency in Quickbooks accounting software and Google DriveExperience coordinating with external tax and audit firmsBase Salary: Provided During InterviewLocation:Suwanee, GA.
