Come work with us in a dynamic environment in which you will use your passion, technical experience, and strong problem-solving skills.What You’ll DoLocation: Hybrid Presence based near our US Hubs - Scottsdale, Boston, San Francisco, Atlanta, Sterling, Denver, or SeattleDevelop a deep understanding of the Company’s order-to-cash cycle, with a particular focus on how quoting through revenue recognition is affected by upstream processes to optimize overall customer and Company outcomesHave end-to-end ownership over key revenue streams, controls, and financial statement disclosuresPerform monthly and quarterly analytic review procedures to ensure proper accounting of revenue and costPartner with the information technology department to build robust reportingWork closely with Professional Services to accurately review and determine proper accounting treatmentsPrepare monthly and quarterly reporting to key internal stakeholdersUtilizes understanding of the Company’s quoting, ordering, and revenue recognition systems and to redesign work and help business partnersPerform key SOX internal controlsPrepare and book journal entries to ensure the appropriate revenue and cost treatmentsEnsure integrity of key processes by understanding systems, flow of transactions, and internal controlsSupport internal and external audit activities, including SOX ComplianceAssist with special projects as assignedWhat You BringPassion for being involved in changing processes and applying automation in a complex environmentBachelor or higher degree in Accounting or FinanceCertified Public Accountant (CPA) designation, or ability to qualify, preferred3-5 years of accounting and analysis experience, revenue a plusRecent public accounting experience or revenue experience with a publicly-traded company highly desirableExcellent analytical, oral, and written communication skills are required for frequent interaction with financial and non-financial managementExperience and knowledge working with ASC 606 compliance guidelinesAttention to detail, strong planning and organization skills, and the ability to multi-task, prioritize and deliver in a fast-paced, dynamic environmentSalesforce and RevStream software knowledge are a plusSelf-starter with an entrepreneurial spiritAdvanced Microsoft Excel, Sigma, SQL and other data analytics procedures are highly desirable.Ability to work autonomously as well as in a team settingConcern for quality and deadlinesAbility to influence and build consensusBenefits that Benefit YouCompetitive salary and 401k with employer matchDiscretionary paid time offPaid parental leave for allFitness ProgramsEmotional & Mental Wellness supportAnd yes, we have snacks in our officesBenefits listed herein may vary depending on the nature of your employment and the location where you work. Axon is a total compensation company, meaning compensation is made up of base pay, bonus, and stock awards. The starting base pay for this role is between USD 95,000 in the lowest geographic market and USD 130,000 in the highest geographic market. The actual base pay is dependent upon many factors, such as: level, function, training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs, geographic market, and often a combination of all these factors.
