Given the entrepreneurial nature and structure of our firm, current employees enjoy the opportunity to progress their career at their own pace.JOB DESCRIPTIONLead financial due diligence (buy-side and sell-side) engagements including:Quoting and scoping prospective engagementsDirecting and performing analysisLeading management discussions and correspondencePreparation and presentation of key deal analyses (Quality of Earnings, Net Working Capital, Debt & Debt-Like, etc.)Writing reports and delivering findings to clientsSupport UHY Corporate Finance marketing and business development through participation in marketing efforts, networking events, preparation of pitchbooks and related materialsManage and communicate pipeline and project status internally and with clientsDevelop standards, practices, procedures, templates and thought leadershipParticipate in recruiting and interviewing / candidate selectionDevelop and mentor staffExposure to transactional support for capital raising, restructuring, and traditional sell-side investment banking transactions and strategiesSupervisory ResponsibilitiesNoneWork EnvironmentWork is conducted in a professional office environment with minimal distractionsPhysical DemandsProlonged periods of sitting at a desk and performing work in front of a computer screen for long periods of timeMust be able to lift to 15 pounds at a timeTravel RequiredSome travel may be required to client sites during engagementsRequired Education and ExperienceBachelor’s degree in accounting and/or finance6 – 8 years of audit / corporate finance / transaction advisory service experiencePreferred Education and ExperienceCertified Public Accountant (“CPA”) designationOther DutiesPlease note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the colleague for this job.
