In this role, you will own all aspects of our financial strategy, operations, and fundraising initiatives.As VP of Finance, you will build and lead a world-class finance organization that enables Datalign Advisory to achieve its ambitious growth targets. For news and updates, follow us on LinkedIn .KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:Fundraising & Investor RelationsLead all aspects of the company's fundraising efforts, including pitch development, investor targeting, and deal negotiationBuild and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential investorsDevelop compelling financial narratives that articulate Datalign Advisory's growth story and strategic visionPrepare and present financial updates to the Board of Directors and investorsFinancial Strategy & PlanningPartner with the CEO and leadership team to develop the company's short and long-term financial strategyCreate detailed financial models to forecast revenue, expenses, cash flow, and capital requirementsEstablish key financial metrics and KPIs to measure business performanceLead annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting processesFinancial Operations & ReportingBuild and manage a high-performing finance teamOversee day-to-day financial operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and cash managementEnsure timely and accurate financial reporting for management, investors, and regulatory complianceDevelop financial policies, procedures, and controls to safeguard company assetsBusiness Partner & Strategic AdvisorProvide financial analysis and insights to support strategic decision-making across the organizationCollaborate with department leaders to optimize resource allocation and drive operational efficiencyIdentify opportunities for margin expansion and profitability improvementEvaluate potential strategic partnerships, acquisitions, and new market opportunitiesBASIC QUALIFICATIONSBachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field10+ years of progressive financial leadership experience5+ years of experience in senior financial management rolesProven track record of successfully raising capital for startups (Series A through C)Experience managing finances for companies with $10MM-$50MM in annual revenueStrong understanding of financial planning, reporting, and analysisProficiency with financial software and ERP systemsPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONSMBA or Master's degree in Finance or related fieldCPA, CFA, or equivalent certificationExperience within the advisory or data analytics industryPrior experience as a CFO or VP of Finance at a high-growth startupTrack record of successful exits (M&A or IPO)Experience developing financial strategies that supported scaling from early-stage to growth-stageStrong network of investor relationships across venture capital and private equityExperience implementing financial systems and controls during periods of rapid growthLOCATION:This position is based at our headquarter in Cambridge, MA, with flexibility for hybrid work PENSATION:Competitive base salary, equity, comprehensive benefits package.Datalign Advisory is an Equal Opportunity Employer. #J-18808-Ljbffr
