Responsibilities include operations management and daily oversight of people, facilities and projects by providing the tools needed for success while driving transparency and understanding. Additionally, this role will require collaboration across teams, both internal and external, to deliver best-in-class services and solutions. This role will work strategically to maximize the managed and asset portfolio that includes ~3 million square feet of owned real estate assets and a growing development pipeline.As a Manager at Capital One, you will drive strategy and execute on high priority projects for the company. You will be challenged to excel and lead alongside the brightest talent in the industry and be rewarded for your achievements.Responsibilities:Monitor the activities of third-party functions - namely mixed-use property manager, hotel operator, and entertainment venue operator - with responsibilities for the daily operations of the associated facilities. Identify, evaluate and recommend capital improvement and replacement projects in the portfolio and strategic short- and long-term planning.Represent ownership concerns and coordinate with property managers, project managers, accountants, architects, attorneys, and other development team members to ensure that lease-up, marketing and outreach and maintenance of waiting lists are handled in accordance with the management plan, policies, and all regulatory requirements and that goals for development are met on time.Work collaboratively to create and refine reporting procedures, databases and other informational systems to collect data, track projects, enhance communication and distribute to Corporate leadership & key stakeholders.Create asset management plans for the operating portfolio. Perform site inspections and oversee physical risk management. Oversee the creation, collection, and maintenance of physical specifications with the goal of maintaining the integrity of the original designs, while updating and adapting the portfolio to changing market conditions.Lead and monitor the third-party property management company in the performance of lease ups in both new construction and occupied rehabs. Complete other tasks as assigned related to real estate asset management, policy development, budgets, planning, maintenance of records and systems and administration.This position may include working weekends or holidays.Basic Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree or Military ExperienceAt least 3 years of experience in real estate industry, financial asset management, property management, or facility operationsPreferred Qualifications:At least 3 years of experience in hospitality or entertainment managementAt least 5 years of experience in third-party or vendor managementAt least 3 years of project management experienceAt this time, Capital One will not sponsor a new applicant for employment authorization for this position.The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.McLean, VA: $126,700 - $144,600 for Manager, Portfolio ManagementCandidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidate’s offer letter.This role is also eligible to earn performance-based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long-term incentives (LTI).
