Tax Director

OverviewWe are looking for a Tax Director to work for our Columbus client. The ideal candidate will align with the responsibilities and qualifications outlined below.ResponsibilitiesAssist with the preparation of the quarterly and annual tax footnote disclosures for SEC financial reporting and supporting tax memorandums.Identify, analyze, and implement tax planning opportunities to minimize cash tax, mitigate tax, and coordinate efforts with external tax advisorsProvide oversight of the tax matters related to M&A and new entities setupAssist CFO with tax planning issues as requiredMonitor, provide analysis of and recommend the proper course of action on legislative and regulatory developmentsLead, manage, and develop a team of tax professionalsDrive strategic tax projectsPerform short- and medium-term tax planningQualificationsBachelor's degree in Accounting or FinanceCPA required8+ years of tax experienceStrong tax technical skills, both Federal and International taxStrong management skills with the ability to manage teams comprised of junior and senior tax team members, providing mentorship and trainingStrong communication skills, both verbal and written #J-18808-Ljbffr
