This Senior Broking position is a leadership role that involves working with colleagues and clients to develop and place builders' risk, inland marine, property, and equipment/installation insurance business focused on the construction industry. The candidate will lead new and renewal project and account placement strategies, identify and recommend coverage options and markets, negotiate with carriers, and prepare and present proposals to clients and prospects. They are expected to provide industry thought leadership and develop innovative programs and product solutions tailored to client needs. The Senior Broker must have a high attention to detail and strong technical knowledge of property/builders' risk, inland marine, property, and equipment/installation insurance. This role involves working independently in a busy office environment, visiting clients, and attending industry events.Key responsibilities include:Executing complex civil/infrastructure projects, including terpreting engineering plans related to civil/infrastructure projects.Understanding hazards and coverages specific to civil/infrastructure works.Identifying client risk needs and proposing suitable services, products, and strategies.Representing the company as a visible industry leader and participating in industry associations.Supporting the Chief Broking Officer and local Insurance Leaders by managing carrier and broker relationships.Analyzing loss data and actuarial reports to support program design.Preparing and evaluating insurance submissions, negotiating coverage and costs with underwriters.Conducting comprehensive coverage analyses for prospects and clients.Collaborating with claims professionals and coverage counsel on complex claims.Working with the Project Risk Solutions team on project-specific insurance programs.Building and maintaining client relationships at regional and national levels.Understanding client objectives and developing tailored solutions.Serving as the main contact for coverage questions and contract reviews.Supporting the production of stewardship reports and pre-renewal strategies for complex anizing sales data, reports, and meetings, and developing sales materials.Using technology and relationships to identify new project opportunities.Explaining policy coverage and pricing comparisons.Collaborating with other brokers to develop market intelligence.Supporting internal communication of business objectives.Undertaking additional duties and projects as assigned.Skills, Knowledge & Abilities include:Expertise in builders' risk, inland marine, property, and equipment/installation insurance.Strong risk financing skills.Ability to clearly explain insurance programs to clients.Experience in account management, servicing, placement, and negotiation.Understanding of the construction insurance market.Problem-solving skills and independent thinking.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.Ability to work under pressure with attention to anizational skills to manage workflows and deadlines.Energetic attitude with a sense of urgency and flexibility.Education & Licensing Requirements include:Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent work experience.Home State P&C license and licenses in states where clients are serviced.Professional designations such as CRIS, CIC, ARM are desirable. #J-18808-Ljbffr
