As an M&A Senior Associate in our Tax Advisory practice, you will be part of a team working hand in hand with our clients to help them navigate the dynamic tax challenges associated with mergers and acquisitions. You won’t work on compliance and returns here! Instead, you will tackle a variety of complex projects related to tax advisory, business transactions, and strategy.While much of your day-to-day work as a Senior Associate will involve supporting the team through client engagements (think conducting research, developing presentation materials, and managing project timelines), you will quickly develop a strong advisory toolkit by regularly interfacing with clients, digging deep into their problems in real-time, and delivering ongoing thought partnership. With experienced leaders to guide you along the way – including a dedicated performance advisor – we are invested in accelerating your growth.Who You Are:Bachelor’s or Master’s in Accounting or TaxationMinimum 3 years of experience in tax compliance or advisory/consultingYou have a passion for developing client relationships and an appetite for building new skillsYou get the job done and have fun doing itYou thrive in an ever-changing, dynamic work environmentYou are a self-starter who readily identifies problems and instinctively looks for solutionsYou demonstrate critical thinking, analytical rigor, and strong written and verbal communication skillsYou enjoy participating in internal and external company initiatives such as community service, training, recruiting, and firm eventsYou have the ability and desire to travel as required based on client locationWhat You’ll Do:Conduct research and analysis related to a variety of M&A tax advisory, transactions, and strategic issuesUse tax technical knowledge to perform buy- and sell-side due diligence and assist in developing tax-efficient acquisition and divestment structuresDevelop reports, presentations, and other client-facing deliverablesCollaborate with project team to manage workstreams and ensure deadlines are metProvide coaching and guidance to junior team members$100,000 - $151,000 a yearThe expected pay range for this position is $100,000 - $151,000 (exclusive of bonus, equity, or benefits for which this role may be eligible).
