If you would like to be part of our future team, please apply now!General Summary:The Senior Financial Analyst provides analytical support for the Finance Department. This includes analyzing past financial data to identify trends and assess risks, performing financial forecasts, and reconciling internal accounts to evaluate strategic decision options. The role involves managing the monthly profit and loss closing process, assisting in month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closings in accordance with GAAP, and preparing financial analyses and research on performance measures and cost savings. The analyst supports management with ad-hoc reports, contributes to management review materials, and participates in the annual budget process and cost-saving activities.All duties are performed confidentially, aligning with Insight Hospital and Medical Center's mission, values, and behaviors. Employees are expected to provide high-quality care, service, and kindness to patients, staff, physicians, volunteers, and guests.Duties and Responsibilities:Prepares profitability and statistical analyses for various periods and levels, including monthly and YTD reports.Develops and maintains data sets supporting key reporting activities and conducts analysis as needed.Supports monthly close and quarterly reviews by providing analytics to leadership.Assists in budget reviews and cost-saving initiatives through analytical support.Performs other duties, including advanced ad hoc reports, as assigned.Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or Statistics.At least three years of experience as a financial analyst or senior accountant.Ability to work with large datasets.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and solution-oriented skills.Excellent verbal and written communication anized team player.Health, vision, and dental benefits are eligible after 30 days, starting the following month.
