Position Summary Were looking for a Staff Engineer Frontend to join International Digital Experiences team. You will be responsible for leading a team of highly capable and committed engineers working on front-end technologies. The team is engaged in design, development, and delivery of next-generation user experiences for our customers, creating innovative user interfaces and continuously improving how we work. About Team Our team collaborates with Walmart International, which has over 5,900 retail units operating outside of the United States under 55 banners in 26 countries including Africa, Argentina, Canada, Central America, Chile, China, India, Japan, and Mexico, to name a few. What you/'ll do Walmart International is a fast-growing business unit, so you/'ll get experience on many different projects across the organization. That said, here are some things you/'ll do: Partner with cross-functional team members to develop and maintain a well-defined roadmap, while balancing technological excellence Lead technical direction and architecture with engineering team members. Facilitate coordination of multiple scrum teams to successfully deliver committed feature sets. Driving practices in training, development, and efficiencies across multiple feature teams. Diagnose and resolve systemic obstacles that prevent your team from delivering high-quality software Build a culture of continuous learning, growth, and sharing of technological insights. Educate and advocate for engineering best practices within the UI ecosystem Recruit, mentor, and develop world-class engineers. Minimum Qualifications Option 1: Bachelor/'s degree in computer science, computer engineering, computer information systems, software engineering, or related area and 4 years’ experience in software engineering or related area. Option 2: 6 years’ experience in software engineering or related area. Preferred Qualifications Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Software Engineering, or related area and 2 years/' experience in software engineering or related area. We value candidates with a background in creating inclusive digital experiences, demonstrating knowledge in implementing Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 AA standards, assistive technologies, and integrating digital accessibility seamlessly. The ideal candidate would have knowledge of accessibility best practices and join us as we continue to create accessible products and services following Walmart’s accessibility standards and guidelines for supporting an inclusive culture. Compensation and Location The primary location is 680 West California Avenue, Sunnyvale, CA 94086-4834, United States of America. The annual salary range for this position is $143,000.00–$286,000.00. Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include stock.
