With a 200-year legacy and a shared passion for what’s next, this is the right place to build a fulfilling career.Brown Brothers Harriman is currently recruiting a Sr. Technical Analyst - Strategy & Data to join our Infomediary Systems team.Main Responsibilities:Develop clear, concise documents & presentation materials, which require proficiency in interviewing skills, workflow analysis, dataflow diagramming, screen design, etc.Translate and present technical concepts into effective visual images which clarify design elements and issues for both business and technical audiencesIdentify, mediate, resolve and eliminate miscommunications between business and technical project team membersProvide leadership to team members and peers by collaborating with others; articulating ideas and viewpoints to senior management, peers and others; driving the resolution of issues; and holding self and team accountable for resultsStay current with business needs and strategies and manage relationships and expectations by developing a communication process to keep others up-to-date on project resultsSupport and align efforts to meet business needsUnderstand and negotiate needs and expectations of multiple stakeholdersLead or participate in multiple projects by completing and updating project documentation; determining daily priorities; following proper escalation pathsOrganize, track, and update progress on projects throughout their entire life cycle.Identify improvement opportunities (proactive and reactive)Research and evaluate new technology solutions and present recommendations for improved system operationsRequirements:BA/BS degree and/or related work experience, preferably in Information Systems or related field5+ years of experience documenting specifications, technical concepts, white papers, etc.Financial Services experience is a plusA technical/programming background or experience working with development teams is a plusMust have experience working on large scale projects as well as handling day-to-day operational requestsStrong time management, ability to successfully manage multiple tasks at any given point, strong relationship building skills & communication skillsData analysis – Must have proficiency with SQL, Microsoft ExcelAbility to create presentations using software such as Microsoft PowerPointExposure to project work and project planning, as well as project management softwareVery strong analytical skills requiredCritical thinking, problem solving is a mustExcellent Written and oral communications skillsInterviewing skillsWe value diverse experiences.
