Position: Mid Energy Analyst (Electrical Power Infrastructure) Description: Identify the characteristics, capabilities, vulnerabilities, and operational status of foreign countries' electric power generation, transmission, distribution networks, and associated facilities and equipment that contribute to energy security, including support to their military capabilities. Produce all-source analytic products and engage in data curation to support customers' missions. Collaborate with branch, external analysts, and colleagues to acquire information used in deliverables to support planning and decision-making. Prepare and present all-source electric power infrastructure analysis in written DIA products and oral presentations, adhering to IC analytic tradecraft standards. Knowledge of energy infrastructure and vulnerabilities, including electric power facilities, networks, transit chokepoints, and control systems such as refineries, storage depots, pipelines, pump stations, and import/export terminals. Experience using tools such as iSpy, message traffic tools, MARS, ArcPro, and geospatial data holdings tools. Security Clearance: TS/SCI with CI POLY or the ability to obtain CI POLY. Job Requirements Desired experiences: At least 8 years of relevant analysis experience, with some experience within the last 2 years. Desired education: Bachelor’s degree in a related field from an accredited institution, or an additional 4 years of relevant experience substituting for a degree, totaling 12 years of experience.
