Position: Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO)Location: Metro Area, DCJob Id: 1404# of Openings: 0TIAG is currently hiring an Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) to support our team on a Cybersecurity program at FEMA based out of Washington, DC. This position requires a Secret level security clearance to be processed to start work, so US Citizenship is a requirement. This position is remote, but eligible candidates should reside in the greater DC Metro region in order to have access to the customer site as needed.ISSO Responsibilities:Provide support to plan, coordinate, and implement the organization’s information security program.Provide support for facilitating and helping agencies identify their current security infrastructure and define future programs, design, and implementation of security related to IT systems.Oversee the efforts of security staff to design, develop, engineer, and implement solutions to security requirements.Gather and organize technical information about an organization's mission goals and needs, existing security products, and ongoing programs in the MLS arena.Perform Risk Management Framework (RMF) activities to achieve Authority To Operate (ATO).Implement and enforce information system security policies, standards, and methodologies.Contribute to the development of new ideas and methods related to cyber security.Develop and maintain Certification and Accreditation (C&A) documentation in accordance with DHS and FEMA guidance.Develop and maintain system security plans, configuration management plans, incident response plans, and other Information Assurance (IA) documents.Conduct technical vulnerability assessments and track remediation activities in the Plan of Action and Milestones (POA&M).Required Experience:7+ years of IT Cyber Security related experience, including a minimum of one (1) year of FISMA experience.Minimum of seven (7) years of hands-on compliance experience.IAM Level III certification required such as CISSP.TIAG is a federal contractor and an equal opportunity and affirmative action employer that does not discriminate and employment decisions shall be based solely on merit and without regard to race, national origin, religion, age, color, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, disability, or protected veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by local, state, or federal laws, rules, or regulations.This policy applies to all terms and conditions of employment.
