Join us in this transformative movement where you can contribute to making a profound difference every day.At Vynca, our mission is to provide comprehensive care for more quality days at home.What You’ll DoBackend (Python + FastAPI)Design and implement GraphQL and RESTful APIs using FastAPI and Strawberry GraphQL.Build and maintain backend services to support UI features, authentication flows, and patient/provider workflows.Model data with SQLAlchemy and manage schema changes with tegrate with third-party APIs (e.g., HealthGorilla, Salesforce, PVerify, Google APIs, Slack).Write unit and integration tests using Pytest and testcontainers.Maintain API security, access control, and logging practices.Event driven architecture, CQRS design patterns, HAPI FHIR Server, Full Text/Fuzzy Search & Semantic SearchFrontend (React + TypeScript)Build and maintain features in a React + TypeScript codebase using functional components and hooks.Implement responsive UI components using Material UI (MUI) and Emotion for styling.Manage client-side state using Redux Toolkit, Formik, and tegrate with backend services via GraphQL (Apollo Client) and REST APIs (Axios).Handle authentication flows with Auth0.Build protected and dynamic routes with react-router-dom.Write unit and integration tests using tools like Vitest, React Testing Library, Playwright and MSW.Implement features like file uploads, PDF generation (pdf-lib), digital signature capture, and custom surveys.Use LaunchDarkly for feature flagging and Vite for builds and local dev.Qualifications2+ years of experience in full stack or frontend/backend development rolesProficient in React and TypeScriptExperience integrating GraphQL and REST APIsFamiliarity with backend frameworks such as FastAPI or similarKnowledge of relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and ORMs like SQLAlchemyComfortable with git, monorepos, and Yarn or similar package managersTesting experience on both frontend (Vitest, Testing Library) and backend (Pytest)Experience working in Agile teams using Jira and Scrum ceremoniesPreferred QualificationsExperience with Strawberry GraphQL or Apollo Server, HAPI FHIRFamiliarity with Auth0 and OAuth-based authenticationExperience with document generation or PDF handling (e.g., pdf-lib, fpdf2, survey.js)Exposure to Slack bots, email validation, or healthcare-specific data models (FHIR, HL7)Experience with semantic search (e.g. typesense)Knowledge of building secure systems adhering to law governance standards like HIPPATech Stack You’ll Work WithFrontend:React 18+, TypeScript, Redux Toolkit, Apollo Client, Formik, Yup, MUI, Emotion, Axios, Vite, MSW, Testing Library, Vitest, pdf-lib, LaunchDarklyBackend:Python 3.11+, FastAPI, Strawberry GraphQL, SQLAlchemy, Alembic, Pydantic v2, Pytest, Auth0, Redis, PostgreSQL, MySQL, Typer, HAPI, TypesenseDev & Infra:Docker, GitHub Actions, Poetry, testcontainers, Jira, ScrumAdditional InformationThe hiring process for this role consists of applying, followed by a phone screen, online assessment(s), interview(s), an offer, and background/reference checks.Background Screening: A background check, which may include a drug test or other health screenings depending on the role, will be required prior to employment.Job Description Scope: This job description is not exhaustive and may include additional activities, duties, and responsibilities not listed herein.Vaccination Requirement: Employees in patient, client, or customer-facing roles must be vaccinated against COVID-19 and influenza.
