OfficeSCBSCB is seeking talented Junior to Intermediate Designers/Architects to join our San Francisco office. We’re a national, multi-disciplinary design firm with a local focus on multi-family residential, academic, and aviation projects.At SCB, everyone engages in design. You’ll work alongside a team of dedicated professionals during all phases of project development.The RoleWe’re hiring several team members to contribute to exciting projects across California. Responsibilities include:Working on foundational aspects of projects under the direction of an Architect or senior staff, across all project phasesSupporting the development of design and technical drawings, visualizations, and studies as directed by project leadersAssisting with design, drafting, rendering, and the creation of digital and physical modelsUnderstanding the overarching project design philosophy in executing your workManaging time and organizing tasks effectively to meet project deadlinesCollaborating with team members and communicating clearly with internal and external stakeholdersDemonstrating knowledge of building materials, construction systems, detailing, and basic construction methodsApplying basic zoning, building, and accessibility codes to assigned workSeeking guidance when needed, while also showing initiative in problem-solvingSupporting the project and studio team with a positive, team-first attitude and a willingness to learnYour QualificationsProfessional degree in Architecture from an accredited program0–10 years of post-graduate architectural experienceProficiency in Revit and AutoCADFamiliarity with tools such as Enscape, SketchUp, Rhino, Grasshopper, 3ds Max, and Adobe Creative SuiteStrong verbal and written communication skillsWhat We OfferA positive working environmentCompetitive salary commensurate with experiencePaid holidays and time off401(k) plan with employer matchMedical, dental, and vision insuranceSalary: $70,000 – $110,000, commensurate with experienceLife at SCBYou’ll grow here.
