As Sr. Product Manager, for End User Computing, you will lead the strategy and planning to drive customer adoption and revenue growth of new Amazon WorkSpaces services including WorkSpaces Thin Client. As a Product Manager, you'll ensure our customers make the most of our capabilities to solve their business challenges. To do so you will develop positioning, messaging, and go-to-market plans for key customer use cases. You will own putting those plans into action, measuring the results, and communicating the impact. You will work in collaboration with go-to-market, marketing, sales specialists, and the broader AWS sales organization to execute your vision. You will also be responsible for identifying and mitigating friction points that come in the way of customer adoption and satisfaction with the service, building mechanisms so that your efforts can scale. You will champion the voice of the customer to make sure our development teams are always working backwards from their needs.Key job responsibilitiesDevelop go-to-market plans for product use cases within End User ComputingAnalyze customer trends within those use cases to develop positioning and value propositions for each focus areaApply understanding of industry and competitive context to shape messaging about how our solutions address customer needsWork with sales, partner development, and marketing to design and execute programs, and events that drive adoption and customer success; measure and communicate resultsCraft content for press activities and sales presentationsScale go-to-market efforts through internal enablement activitiesWork with engineering and inbound product managers to create a roadmap of features that drive customer adoptionConduct customer briefings, present at industry events, and further thought leadership around end user computingBASIC QUALIFICATIONSBS/BA degree (Master’s degree preferred) in Computer Science, Information Systems or Business.5+ years of demonstrable experience in one or more of the following areas: product management, business development, sales or marketingDemonstrated track record in crafting technical product positioning, messaging, content and programsAbility to work independently and prioritize effectively in a complex, ambiguous and fast-paced environmentDemonstrable ability to meet tight deadlines while managing multiple projectsExceptional writing skills to create narratives, presentations, blogs, white papers.A work ethic based on a strong desire to exceed expectationsAbility to work effectively with cross-organizational teams in an international, diverse and complex organizationStrong written and verbal communication skills to positively influence decision makingComfortable presenting and interfacing with leadershipPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONSMasters in Computer Science/Engineering/Mathematics and/or MBABroad technical breadth and depth including familiarity with data center technologies, virtualization and public cloudDemonstrated success in delivering high quality technology products/services in a scale up environment where priorities can shift rapidlyExperience in driving a high level of focus and excellence with a strong, talented, opinionated teamExperience driving a technical global product and team with end to end inbound and outbound product responsibilitiesSound business judgment, proven ability to influence others, and strong analytical thinking skillsAmazon is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace.
