***Please note, this opportunity is contingent upon receiving award and is not immediately available. ****Must be local to DMV area and must be a US Citizen and be able to obtain a government agency Clearance*Metric5 has a need for a Project Manager with 10+ years of experience in leading mid-size HRIT task orders/projects including at least 5 years of HR/HCM system modernization and operations experience. The ideal Program Manager will excel at communication, organization, team management, customer management, and will have extensive knowledge of HR/HCM Systems, preferably PeopleSoft 9.2.Responsible. Overall performance responsibility for managing scope, cost, schedule, and contractual deliverables for IT-related projects. Activities include hands-on management and applying techniques for planning, tracking, change control, and risk management of IT-related projects. Responsible for managing all project resources, including subcontractors, and for establishing an effective communication plan with the project team and the customer. Provide day-to-day direction to the project team and regular project status to the customer.ResponsibilitiesRelationship ManagementMaintain strong client relationships with Stakeholders and be viewed as a trusted / strategic partnerDemonstrate and provide PeopleSoft thought leadership.Maintain high client satisfaction ratingsMaintain subcontractor partnership relationshipsCollaborate with Stakeholders to report status and ensure that the program objectives are being metDevelop future strategies and roadmaps to assist the client in becoming more efficient and better positioned for long-term successApply subject matter expertise to identify, develop, and implement techniques to improve engagement, productivity, mitigate risks, and resolve issuesIdentify opportunities for Change Requests as neededProvide overall Financial management: Manage invoicing. Manage project financialsMonitor and ensure the project achieves its financial targetsImplement corrective actions for potential financial risks/variances early and raise it executive managementProvide financial management forecast presentations as needed to executive managementCreate/ Monitor / Track project schedule, milestones and deliverablesImplement corrective actions in a timely mannerEnsure project is delivered on-time and on-budget.Provide overall deliverable and work product management and input including but not limited to: Staffing plans, Project Integrated Master Schedule, Project Plans, and other plans such as configuration management plans, deployment plans, testing plans and training plans, status reports, RAID logs, etc).Ensure that the work products and deliverables are of the highest caliber to ensure client satisfactionProvide overall management of staff including but not limited to: Manage performance of the staff assigned to the program by providing real-time feedback, holding performance syncs, and addressing performance issues.Approve the selection of all project personnelMonitor project staff's compliance with rules and legal/regulationsMentor staff / retain high performersCommunicationsExecute the project's communication planDeliver and present client status reportsProvide internal project executive status reports/meetingsManage the Risk log and implement mitigation strategies when requiredManage the Issue log and work to resolve issuesWork closely with Executives and Stakeholders to manage Risks/IssuesScope ManagementMonitor the project for potential scope that is not in the contractAssess changes and utilize the project's change control processProblem solvingComplianceMonitor project for compliance legal requirements, security and federal compliance.Monitor project for SLA compliance and report performance.
