As Senior Platform Developer, you’ll provide subject matter expertise to the team and the customer for all things development with the goal to make an impact across the federal government.What you’ll do:Provide subject matter expertise, in regard to development, to the team and the customerResearch, design, test, evaluate, and implement technologies related to Kubernetes, containerization and other infrastructuresWork on the core platform to create and optimize all functions needed to establish a strong platform infrastructureCollaborate with the team and the customer dailyWhat you’ll need to succeed:8 years of experience as a software developer or engineer3 years of experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC), containerization, K8, and CI/CD AutomationExperience with .NET, Java, Python, and Go; as well as experience working in a DevSecOps environmentExperience with Source Code repositories and CI/CD pipeline solutions such as Team Foundation Server/Azure DevOps, Bitbucket, and GitHubExperience with container orchestration tools (Rancher, OpenShift, etc.)Active TS/SCI security clearanceAbility to work in Washington, DC on client-site 2-3 days per weekIf a projected salary range is posted for this position, it represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of MetroStar's total compensation.Additional Compensation: This role may also be eligible for bonuses and/or additional incentives based on individual and company performance.Benefits: All full-time employees are eligible to participate in our benefits programs:Health, dental, and vision insurance401(k) retirement plan with company matchPaid time off (PTO) and holidaysParental Leave and dependent careEmployee assistance and wellness programsLike we said, we are big fans of our people.
