Overview Job Title: Full Stack Software Developer-Level III Duration: 3+ Months Rate: Up to $70/hr on Vendor W2 – Try to be competitive rate Location: San Jose, CA - 3 days onsite and 2 days remote Estimated start date: asap Responsibilities Conducts analysis, designs products, and programs computer software that requires extensive research. Typical background for this position is advanced study/knowledge in computer science or software engineering along with advanced knowledge of software development and methodologies. Performs software and system testing procedures, bug verification, release testing, and beta support. Performs product design and programming activities involving multiple modules or subsystems. Participates in design meetings and consults with other staff to evaluate interface between hardware and software, and operational and performance requirements of overall system. Performs complex release testing and beta support for assigned projects and resolves problems found in the software. Prepares documentation required of the product. Analyzes and researches software requirements to determine feasibility of design and marketing requirements within time and cost constraints. May consult with customer concerning application and maintenance of software. May coordinate installation of software system. May serve as a project architect. Qualifications Top 3 must-have hard skills (with possible alternatives and years): Java-based development with experience in backend engineering Strong debugging abilities for diagnosing and solving issues independently with minimal supervision Google Cloud Platform / BigQuery data integration skills (two roles) and Data Science background (one role) Two engineers – for full stack software engineering (more backend heavy), preferably experience with GCP or BQ as well One engineer – for full stack software engineering (more backend heavy), preferably with data science skills Excludes paraprofessional positions.
